Any company working with metal tubing will tend to require metal tube bending. Various uses for bending tubes range from simply fitting tubing around its working environment dealing with corners, other machinery or dedicated space function.
Bending metal tubes is not something that can easily be done by anyone because you’ll need the right equipment to make that happen.
The process requires placing the working metal tube into a pipe bender with a clamp held firmly between two dies. By mechanical force, the metal tube is forced against a die, forming it according to the shape of the die.
The stock tubing can also be gripped in place with its end rotated and rolled around a die.
A third way is bending the tube through a roller that bends it into a curve.
Another method is by using a round metal set used as a mandrel to shape the tube by keeping its shape from collapsing.
We at Sams Fabrication bend metal tubes using our Hilmor Manual Tube Bender. We also use the hydraulic tube former and a Sahinler Tube & Section Roller. These in-house machinery equipment allow us to shape metal tubing of different diameter and metal composition of varying thickness to the shape and angle that’s required.
This is in line with our specialized service of metal fabrication, expanding our capacity to work and shape metals according to your needs.
